Refund policy

Each of our designs is handmade and one-of-a-kind - therefore, some variation is inevitable.   The photos on this website were taken in lighting that may differ from the lighting where the piece will be displayed, so it is impossible to guarantee that they will look the same in other locations.  Due to the authenticity of our products, there is no refund option, only exchanges and only in the following 2 circumstances:

  • Only items that contain defective manufacturing will be replaced.
  • Only items that are fulfilled incorrectly will be replaced.

There are no refunds.  No exceptions.  Unsolicited packages will be refused.  Refunds are not given for customer errors.

DAMAGES AND ISSUES

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. 

If a return is granted for reasons not the fault or responsibility of Mountain Metal Arts, LLC at the customer's insistence, customer is responsible for return shipping, 20% restocking fee of full retail price and in the event of free shipping, shipping charge will be deducted from refund amount.  Customer-paid shipping charges are non-refundable. 

Return packages must have an R.A. (return authorization) number marked on the outside of the package.  R.A. numbers are only issued by phone by calling 719.252.5068.  Mailing address is P.O. Box 53, Rye, CO 81069.

All items are sold as is and no warranty is offered.  Returns, exchanges and changes are only allowed in the event the wrong item was shipped.  There are absolutely no exceptions.  Damaged items will only be replaced if the customer has purchased insurance offered at the top of each shopping cart page.  Without insurance, the customer is fully responsible for filing a claim with the relative carrier.  Assistance from Mountain Metal Arts, LLC in the claim process is completely at the discretion of Mountain Metal Arts, LLC.

Any issues must be handled between the customer and Mountain Metal Arts, LLC.  If the customer fails to contact Mountain Metal Arts, LLC first, choosing to involve third-parties (like a credit card company or finance company), any returns, exchanges or refunds are solely at the discretion of Mountain Metal Arts, LLC and will automatically be settled to the benefit of Mountain Metal Arts, LLC.

CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES

We make everything by hand and every item is MADE TO ORDER.  This means we don't keep inventory and only make things as they are ordered.  For this reason, we do not allow cancellations under any circumstances after 3 hours of order placement.  Cancellations after this period are subject to a 20% processing fee.  If orders are placed in a restricted time (i.e. orders placed on and after a date), the 20% processing fee is automatically deducted from any refund.
